Social Activities

Our church community hosts various mid-week groups that meet socially. Find out more about each of our groups and activities here – everyone is welcome to come along and join us.

Saturday Café

Meets weekly on Saturdays, 10am-12pm.

Our weekly cafe at St Aidan’s is very popular! A lovely place to make and meet friends over a lovely cup of tea or coffee and tasty treats.

Film Club

Meets 2nd Thursday of the month, 2pm:

Showing recent films with refreshments and the chance to chat before and after

Chat and Craft

Meets 4th Thursday of the month, 2pm:

Bring your favourite craft or activity and do it with others. Or indeed, just come for the chat, even without the craft! Open to all.

Men’s Group

Meets 1^st Thursday of the month 8pm:

A popular group for men with guest speakers on various topics, as well as games nights, and socials held at the Northern Rugby Club. Bring your own drink when hosted at church. All welcome (as long as you’re a man!).

Wednesday Luncheon Club

Meets every two or three months on a Wednesday, 12 for 12.30 at Northern Rugby Club.

Booking is essential, but all are welcome for an excellent lunch and fellowship!
